EMM published a paper within the project PLUTO (Processor Layout Utilization for Thermal Optimization) on the Forum on specification & Design Languages (FDL) 2023 which took place in Turin, Italy. PLUTO is a research project that is co-funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affiars, Regional Development, and Energy. With the Laboratory for Product Development and Lightweight Design from Technical University of Munich, a new approach for designing thermally sensitive satellite payloads is developed. A digital twin is implemented on processor modules to develop a routine for distribution of the power consumption within the payload with the goal to minimize temperature gradients for sensitive payload components.
